I don't know whether this band is still planning on any new works soon, but this being their debut and only studio record is sure a classy one. Meant to be released in December in the year, the album was already leaked in June... Anyway, pretty typical female fronted Gothic band with the harsher male lines. Already fairly famous in the Progressive scene in Poland, Riverside has a lot to live up to since the success of "Out Of Myself" and "Second Life Syndrome". "Rapid Eye Movement", released in 2007 was a bit of a let down as it sounded a bit too similar to "Second Life Syndrome", so "Anno Domini High Definition" breaks the moulde and dishes out a new sound. The music isn't bad and the muscians' performance is honest, though at the end of the day, the whole album comes out is okay but forgettable as it lacks originality in the already overcrowded scene. Still, if you are a fan of hot female fronted Gothic Metal (yes, she's hot and her voice is actually good), "Faith" has it's moments of amusements.

As a fan of the Finnish band Tarot, I try to follow what the musicians of the band are up to and found out about Marenne which sees Zachary Hietala and Janne Tolsa from Tarot form a new band with bassist Jukka Jylli and female singer Marenne. Vocals are definitely a strong point in this album, but the melodies and pretty good too. Fans of female fronted acts would most certainly find it enjoyable.

Regarded by many as ETOS's pinnacle, I cannot agree more. Despite listening it for the first time 8 years after it's release, I was still quite blown away by the 2001 ETOS and the keyboards really stood out. As much as I enjoyed later releases "Before The Bleeding Sun" and "Children Of The Dark Waters", "A Virgin And A Whore" is definitely my favourite among the three.
