A digitally remastered version of the 2002 classic "Damage Done" from the Dark Tranquillity discography. Also includes previously limited / Japanese edition bonus tracks, live version of "The Treason Wall" and the never released "Static".
I was quite impressed by "Haven" even upon first listen, mainly because of the keyboards and the modern sound despite it being 9 years old already. The rest is still the DT sound, so not much can go wrong here.
Some say this album is too similar to their previous album Character, but I think it's more of a natural continuation and the band is just doing what they do well.
Praised by many as the best Dark Tranquility album, the Swedish Gothenburg masters not only incorperates elements from their older works, but also makes more use of keyboards while vocalist Mikael Stanne has perfected his black/death vocals.
